This 2016 we have taken another step forward in our project. That’s why the first weekend of April we are launching Taste All Those, a new event that promotes the consumption of local and seasonal products by combining a Farmer’s Market with a different kind of Street Food market.

Last April 2 and 3, we returned to the historic building of the University of Barcelona, this time to its outdoor parking, to present Taste All Those, a new event with a sustainable and local soul. The great novelty of Taste is its Farmer’s Market where attendees could buy fruits and vegetables directly from a selection of producers who work the land in a respectful way, in addition to other products to fill the pantry as fish, meat, cheeses, breads, oils or jams. The event, the only one of its kind in Barcelona, also featured a careful selection of young chefs and restaurants in the city that share enthusiasm for seasonal ingredients and proximity and presented some of their best recipes in their most street and accessible version, with seasonal products at the center of their dishes. In addition, as in all our projects, we have two of our favorite craft beers of the city, a bar exclusively of natural wines from small producers and activities for children aimed at awakening in them an interest in healthy eating.

After three successful editions of our Food Market, the project has established itself in the city as a driving force of the artisan movement and a meeting point for the protagonists of the new gastronomic scene. Taste All Those is another step in our mission to give visibility to small producers, entrepreneurs and artisans through an event that seeks to raise awareness that local produce not only helps the development of our communities, but is also healthier, sustainable and above all tastes better.
The idea of this new project is to try to give it greater continuity, in order to provide the city with a regular space in which to buy and taste directly the products of entrepreneurs, artisans and local producers that are not found in the usual distribution channels. The next two editions will be held in summer (June 11 and 12) and autumn (September 17 and 18).
German Parga, Yosigo and Entropía Films were in charge of portraying the atmosphere of the event to perfection.
We would like to especially thank Dasler, Deliveroo, Cuvee3000, Grup MDM, and of course, all the artisans, producers, and entrepreneurs who participated, as well as everyone who visited us and made the first edition of Taste All Those a success.
