On April 21 and 22 All Those Food Market, the festival of new gastronomic artisans, returned to the emblematic Teatre Nacional de Catalunya with a proposal full of surprises.

After a long winter, on April 21 and 22, the TNC became the perfect spot to welcome spring and get an early start on celebrating Sant Jordi. Attendees enjoyed the best gastronomic projects of the moment in a lively and festive atmosphere.

One of the biggest surprises of this edition was the success of the first-ever Crua Festival, an event that brought together some of the best artisan cheesemakers from Catalunya. It aims to become the premier artisanal cheese festival in the capital and an unmissable event in the sector. Interesting projects like chef Rafa Peña’s acclaimed restaurant Gresca and Bernat Bermudo’s Mano Rota were just a few of the highlights. The event also featured trending gastronomic entrepreneurs such as Mellow Sheng with their homemade kimchis, Exalta with their chocolates, and Rosons with their jams and preserves. Additionally, there were invited projects from other parts of the peninsula, including Chiles Hermanos and their artisanal hot sauces from Valencia, O Submarino and their preserves from Galicia, and Can Ferrerico with their delicious sobrassadas from Mallorca.

Activities played a significant role once again during the weekend of April 21 and 22, as they were designed to cater to all interests. There were workshops delving into specialty coffee, such as the coffee cocktails by Javier Caballero and Kim Ossenblok from Dalla Corte, as well as a coffee and cheese pairing session by Slow Mov featuring the cheeses from Mas d’Eroles.

Additionally, coinciding with the first edition of the Crua Festival, there were various activities focused on artisanal cheese. These included an intriguing cheese and natural wine pairing led by Monvínic and Llet Crua, a pairing with craft beers hosted by Miquel Rius, organizer of the Barcelona Beer Festival, and Murgó Formatges, as well as a blind cheese tasting with Enric Canut, one of the country’s foremost cheese experts.

Finally, we would like to thank the collaborators who supported us in this edition: Dasler, El Bandarra, Organic&Orgasmic, Dalla Corte, BWT, Black Remedy Coffee Bar, Las Muns, Juvasa, Mammaproof, BeMyDj y Ajuntament de Barcelona. Also, a special thanks to La Mandanga for being the illustrator of the poster for this edition.

For more information, visit our Instagram and Facebook.

On April 21 and 22 All Those Food Market, the festival of new gastronomic artisans, returned to the emblematic Teatre Nacional de Catalunya with a proposal full of surprises. This new festival, launched by All Those, took place just a few days after the Alimentaria fair and offered a unique opportunity to taste the best cheeses from Catalunya while meeting their producers firsthand. Among the featured producers were Molí de Ger, Tros de Sort, Mas d’Eroles, and Le Bolut.
In addition, a popular contest was held to choose the best cheese of the festival, with the winner being the Blau de l’Avi Ton from Formatges Camps.

Continuing the approach of previous editions, which carefully considered proposals for children, the April event once again partnered with Mammaproof to make it even more family-friendly.
This edition featured a chill-out space for babies and offered free recreational activities for children over 3 years old, such as a workshop on learning to plant strawberries with Arrels i Brots, coinciding with the arrival of spring. Each activity was designed to spark their interest in gastronomy while raising awareness about the importance of seasonal products in a fun and engaging way.
